It sounds like I fall into camp 2 as well. Does this view also mean that the land of Nod was a settlement of Adam & Eve's children? Since people lived so much longer back then, maybe also the length of Eve's pregnancies were different as well, possibly less than 9 months? What do you think?

Very helpful, but FYI, there is no consensus among YECists about the question of animal death before the fall; some affirm it, some deny it. For what it's worth, I am a YEC, but I think the Bible is silent about animal death before the fall. Animal diet is another question.
